It's hard to believe these words as I'm writing them, but after 97 years, the Levin family legacy of running Malloves on Main Street in Middletown, CT has come to a close. What an unbelievable 97 years we've had.
A business like ours doesn’t last nearly a century because of the name on the front of the building. It lasts because of the customers who walk through the doors and place their trust in us. You allowed us to be part of life’s most important moments, and that trust has meant everything to my family, my team and me.
Many of you have supported this store for generations, and knowing that Malloves has played a small role in your family milestones is something I will always treasure.
As I retire and pass the store onto Sammy, the new owner, I do so with confidence that the values this business was built on — integrity, quality, service and community — will remain intact. I know my Dad (Buzzy), Grandfather (Max) and Great Uncle (Joe) are smiling down on all of us.
Thank you for your loyalty and support throughout the years. It has truly been a privilege.
